Salary:
  • Base salary ranges from $50,000-$70,000 based on experience.
  • Full time employees are eligible for bonus opportunity contingent on company performance and individual contribution.

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Director of Accounting in the following:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and expense reports for payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping, data entry, and payroll adjustments.
  • Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding payment status and account information.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by performing data entry and reconciliations as needed.
  • Support the company with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Experience and Capabilities:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles preferred.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel, required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in a start-up organization preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software is required, NetSuite is preferred.
