Tom is a Senior Associate in the US M&A Tax department. He regularly advises multi-national and private equity clients on the US tax considerations associated with acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, restructurings, and financing strategies.
Tom has experience in both buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and modeling, with a focus on under-accrued cash tax liability, future tax controversy, usability and usefulness of tax attributes, structuring implications, and more.
Before joining Leo Berwick, Thomas worked in a Big 4’s New York office. In 2023, Thomas received the Elijah Watts Sells Award for averaging above 95.5 across all four sections of the CPA exam.
