Project Coordinator (12 month Contract, Toronto)

About the role:

We are building a deliveryenablement Project Management Office (PMO) to support the execution of complex, operationsled initiatives. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping projects organized, visible, and progressing as planned. 

This role supports Project Managers by owning core coordination and administrative activities, helping ensure the PMO operates efficiently, scales effectively, and is trusted as a driver of delivery and not process.

While this is a remote-first role, occasional in-office attendance could be expected in our Toronto location.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Own day‑to‑day execution hygiene across active initiatives

  • Prepare and maintain status updates, notes, and action logs

  • Track dependencies, follow‑ups, and delivery milestones

  • Support reporting accuracy and consistency across projects

  • Keep project information current, organized, and accessible

  • Enable PMs to stay focused on delivery momentum—not admin

What you Bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or operational support
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple priorities smoothlyDetail‑oriented with a track record of clean documentation and follow‑through
  • Experience maintaining status reports, action logs, and dependency tracking

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel and Microsoft Planner (or similar tools)

  • Clear communicator comfortable coordinating across stakeholders

  • Adaptable and effective in fast‑paced, high‑growth or startup environments

Compensation:

This is a 12-month contract role offering a base salary range of $65,000–$85,000 CAD, commensurate with skills, experience, and alignment with the requirements of the role. Placement within this range will be determined based on demonstrated project coordination experience and scope of responsibility.
