Dan Shirley leads Leo Berwick’s Energy and Resources state and local tax group.
Prior to joining Leo Berwick Dan was a US Tax Partner from the National Multistate Tax Services group of Deloitte, where he was the National Energy Tax Leader.
Dan advises clients on various state and local tax considerations, including those associated with mergers and associations, divestitures, nexus studies, emerging trading optimization strategies, gross receipts tax analyses, nuclear-decommissioning trust state tax planning, and flow-through entitles structuring, like partnerships and limited liability companies.
