Jan Michael Skidds is a Partner and the National Leader for the State and Local Tax Practice, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions.
Before joining Leo Berwick, Jan was a Managing Director in the Multistate Tax practice at a Big 4 Firm, where he focused primarily on M&A transactions and corporate restructurings in addition to serving as the Private Equity Service Line Champion and Passthrough Consulting Leader for Portfolio Companies and M&A. Jan has twenty years of State and Local M&A experience leading complex transactions for private equity and strategic clients.
In addition, Jan has served many high-profile clients in the financial services, life sciences and healthcare, consumer products and infrastructure space with income and non-income tax compliance and consulting and audit defense projects.
